They have recently played some of Glasgow’s top venues, including King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut, Pivo Pivo and Flat 0/1, and are quickly gaining a loyal fan-base on social media, as a result of their catchy songs, outstanding musicianship and high-energy live performances. Right Recordings is delighted to announce the release of the new album by Lou Golding. Lou is a highly energetic and creative singer-songwriter, multi instrumentalist and producer. His new album was produced by Lou with Bill Gautier (Dire Straits, Eric Clapton, Paul McCartney). Originally from Leeds, Lou’s musical influences include the Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Pink Floyd, George Harrison, the Flaming Lips, and Sigur Ros. Lou started playing guitar and piano when he was 10 years old, and singing when he was 14. By the age of 17 he had written over 100 songs. He visited a studio in Wakefield, who was so impressed with his work that they offered him a management deal, wherein he recorded music free of charge over a two year period. At 19, Lou had his own studio where he further developed his skills of songwriting, producing and arranging music.
